Student Chapters

Our ALPFA Student Chapters

The Student Chapters of ALPFA Chicago provide leadership development, volunteer, internship, and scholarship opportunities to talented students from three universities in Illinois. Active involvement in these activities helps students to make a successful transition from college to career since they have access to ALPFA's national network of Latino professionals and to its corporate partners. The chapters also provide a means with which professionals can connect with students and serve as teachers, advisors, and mentors for students that need help navigating the sometimes overwhelming or uncertain career options available to them. ALPFA Chicago helps them to bridge this knowledge gap.

Creating Student Chapters
As students embark on their quest to choose a career and enhance their marketability to potential employers, ALPFA can be another resource by assisting in launching student chapters at respective schools.
An established student chapter expands opportunities for those who seek   careers in accounting, finance, and related business fields by:
• empowering them to develop as leaders through the management of their chapter,
• delivering quality student programs focused on professional development,
• providing access to ALPFA’s industry network of professional members and sponsors,
• offering access to scholarship programs
• creating opportunities to network with other students.
To learn more about creating a local student chapter in your school, please contact Roberto Sepulveda at students@chicago.alpfa.org or Chris Kleckner at colleges@chicago.alpfa.org
