Professional Membership Requirements:
Any person who shares our values, mission, and principles; and, holds a baccalaureate degree, or its international equivalent in accounting or finance related majors; or, holds an equivalent professional certification in an accounting or a finance related field or shall be a practicing professional in the field of accounting or business finance.
Rights:
Vote on any and all matters put forth for a membership vote at the national and local level, except for the election of the Associate Member Board Representative or the Student Member Board Representative.
Initiate or support the nomination of any qualified member to any position on the national or local Board of Directors except the Associate Member Board Representative or the Student Member Board Representative.
Run for election to any national or chapter position, the Board of Directors or its Committees except that of the Student Member Board Representative.

Student Membership Requirements:
Any person who shares our values, mission, and principles; and, provides evidence of current enrollment in an accredited high school, college, or university.
Rights:
Run for election to the position on the national or chapter Board as the Student Member Representative; Vote only in the election of their national and local Student Member Board Representative. May not cast a binding vote on any other national or chapter matters.
LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP
ALPFA also offers Lifetime Membership to those interested in making a life-long commitment to the organization’s mission. Lifetime members enjoy all ALPFA Chicago member benefits, and are also recognized for their dedication to the organization at national and local events.
